  11. You need 2 1/2 cup of Water.
  12. It's 1 tsp of lemon juice.
  13. It's 1 of small cinnamon stick.

  1. Soak basmati rice for 30 minutes..
  2. Chop onion and tomatoes.
  3. Grind one small piece ginger,4 to 5 garlic cloves and one green chilli into a paste.you can add plain ginger garlic paste as well..
  4. Heat oil in a cooker add cardamom,cinnamon stick, cloves, fennel stick and bay leaves and fry them..
  5. Add thinly chopped onions and fry them till it turns golden brown in colour..
  6. Add green chilli in it and saute it for 30 seconds.
  7. Add ginger-garlic paste and mix it well.
  8. Add tomatoes cook them till the tomatoes get soft and cooked well. then add coriander and mint leaves in it..
  9. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala and salt in it..
  10. Add 3 tsp curd and mix it well.
  11. Add rice and mix it once. then add 2.5 cup water.once it starts to boil add 1 tsp lemon juice and close the lid..
  12. Pressure cook it for 2 whistles in high flame.
  13. Serve it hot with raita and kurma.
