- It's 1 1/2 cup of basmati rice.
- Prepare 3 of onion.
- It's 2 of Tomato.
- You need 2 tsp of ginger garlic paste.
- You need 2 of green chillies.
- You need 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder.
- You need 1 tsp of red chilli Powder(adjust according to your taste).
- It's 1 tsp of Garam masala.
- You need 1 handful of mint and coriander leaves.
- You need To taste of Salt.
- You need 2 1/2 cup of Water.
- It's 1 tsp of lemon juice.
- It's 1 of small cinnamon stick.
- It's 1 of bay leaf.
- Prepare 2 of cloves.
- Prepare 2 of cardamom.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of fennel seeds.
- You need 2-3 tbsp of oil.
Plain Biryani kuska instructions
- Soak basmati rice for 30 minutes..
- Chop onion and tomatoes.
- Grind one small piece ginger,4 to 5 garlic cloves and one green chilli into a paste.you can add plain ginger garlic paste as well..
- Heat oil in a cooker add cardamom,cinnamon stick, cloves, fennel stick and bay leaves and fry them..
- Add thinly chopped onions and fry them till it turns golden brown in colour..
- Add green chilli in it and saute it for 30 seconds.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and mix it well.
- Add tomatoes cook them till the tomatoes get soft and cooked well. then add coriander and mint leaves in it..
- Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala and salt in it..
- Add 3 tsp curd and mix it well.
- Add rice and mix it once. then add 2.5 cup water.once it starts to boil add 1 tsp lemon juice and close the lid..
- Pressure cook it for 2 whistles in high flame.
- Serve it hot with raita and kurma.
