  2. Prepare 250 gms of all purpose flour/maida.
  3. You need 50 gms of ghee.
  4. Prepare 50 gms of fresh curd.
  5. It's 1/4 tsp of baking powder.
  6. Prepare Pinch of salt.
  7. It's Pinch of baking soda.
  8. It's as required of Warm water.
  9. You need for of Sugar Syrup.
  10. It's 200 gms of sugar.

  12. Prepare 1/2 tsp of cardamom powder.

Homemade Balushahi step by step

  1. First we make balushahi dough so take a bowl add all purpose flour and fresh curd & warm ghee then add salt & pinch of baking powder & baking soda then mix with hands till texture looks like holding or binding shape then add limited water through spoon and make a dough..
  2. When dough is ready keep aside for 40 minutes rest..
  3. Meanwhile we prepare sugar syrup heat the pan add sugar in it & water stir continuously in low flame till it become sticky then add cardamom powder & saffron strands mix it then off the flame..
  4. After 40 minutes apply some ghee on our hands & taking small portion of dough & give round shape press gently in center of balushahi..
  5. Heat another pan add ghee or oil for deep frying when it's heated 1 by 1 all balushahi deep fried till golden brown in colour..
  6. Then spread sugar syrup over all balushahi it should be coated well or dip 5 to 10 minutes in sugar syrup..
  7. Spread chopped dryfruits over it or fix it in a center of Balushahi it looks beautiful..
  8. It's ready to serve with festivals or occasion..
