Ingredients of Homemade Balushahi
- Prepare for of dough.
- Prepare 250 gms of all purpose flour/maida.
- You need 50 gms of ghee.
- Prepare 50 gms of fresh curd.
- It's 1/4 tsp of baking powder.
- Prepare Pinch of salt.
- It's Pinch of baking soda.
- It's as required of Warm water.
- You need for of Sugar Syrup.
- It's 200 gms of sugar.
- It's 1/2 cup of water.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of cardamom powder.
- Prepare few of saffron strands.

- You need 10 of chopped almonds.

Homemade Balushahi step by step
- First we make balushahi dough so take a bowl add all purpose flour and fresh curd & warm ghee then add salt & pinch of baking powder & baking soda then mix with hands till texture looks like holding or binding shape then add limited water through spoon and make a dough..
- When dough is ready keep aside for 40 minutes rest..
- Meanwhile we prepare sugar syrup heat the pan add sugar in it & water stir continuously in low flame till it become sticky then add cardamom powder & saffron strands mix it then off the flame..
- After 40 minutes apply some ghee on our hands & taking small portion of dough & give round shape press gently in center of balushahi..
- Heat another pan add ghee or oil for deep frying when it's heated 1 by 1 all balushahi deep fried till golden brown in colour..
- Then spread sugar syrup over all balushahi it should be coated well or dip 5 to 10 minutes in sugar syrup..
- Spread chopped dryfruits over it or fix it in a center of Balushahi it looks beautiful..
- It's ready to serve with festivals or occasion..
