Dum aloo biryani step by step

  1. First add one tbsp oil to the kadai...now to that add two sliced onions and fry it till becomes dark golden brown in colour.... After it turns to dark brown colour remove it in an tissue paper and keep aside...and in that oil itself u need to add the chopped potatoes and fry it till it changes to light golden brown in colour.....

Now u need to remove these fried potatoes and marinate using curd 1/3 cup, ginger garlic paste, coriander leaves chopped very finely and mix it very well and at last add 1 tspn garam masala powder to it and add little kasuri methi to it...and mix it very well once again and keep it for marination for 10 minutes...
  3. Now after this u need to take an cooker and add one tablespoon oil and 4 cloves..4 kali meeri...4 elaichi 1 tej patta and 1 teaspoon jeera and mix all these masalas for just 5 seconds and then to it add 2 chopped tomatoes and to this add little salt and mix it very well till it is mashed and leaves it's oil...

Now here after the tomatoes starts leaves it's oil to it add the marinated potatoes and mix it very well....then to this add the 400 grams rice and then add the water and add to it little milk and add garam masala 1 teaspoon and salt as per taste.....and close the lid for 4 whistles....open the lid and u can see that ur delicious mouth watering biryani is ready.....
  5. Now u need to garnish it with the golden brown onions which we have kept to use it later for garnishing....now the delicious mouth watering biryani is ready to serve.....#ilovecooking.
