Ingredients of Rava sweet Appam
- It's 1 cup of Rava.
- You need 1 cup of Milk.
- It's 2 tablespoon of yoghurt.
- You need 3 tablespoons of cooked rice (either white or brown).
- Prepare 5 tablespoons of sugar.
- You need 1/4 teaspoon of Baking soda.
- You need 2 of cardamom.
- You need of Cashew nuts 5 into small slices.
- It's of Cashews for garnishing.
- It's of Dry grapes for garnishing.
Take semolina in a big bowl and mix curd to it. Rava Appam is a sweet which can be made instantly. We usually make this for the Karthigai Deepam. Unlike the conventional appam, Rava appam doesn't require soaking and grinding process.

- Grind all the ingredients from rava to cardamom in a mixie and make a batter.
- And in that batter add the slices of cashew nuts.
- And then pour the batter in a tin or into the shape which u need and garnish it the way you like and steam it for 10 to 12 minutes.
