- It's 4-5 of tblspn maida or all purpose flour.
- Prepare 2 tbsp of ghee.
- You need 3 tbsp of milk or as needed.
- It's 3/4 tbsp of lemon juice.
- It's 1/8 tbsp of baking soda.
- It's as required of Ghee or oil for deep frying.
- It's 1 and 1/2 cup of sugar.
- It's 2 of cardamom pods.
- It's 1 and 1/2 cups of water.

- In a heavy bottomed pan add milk and let it come to a boil. Reduce the flame,when one layer of cream is formed stick it to sides of vessel. Then get the milk boil again..
- Repeat the process of gathering of cream. When the milk reduces to half, add sugar and cardamom pod then boil it for some more mins..
- Then scrape off the collected cream from the side of the pan and give it a good mix. Your rabri is now ready. Let it be cool..
- Again in a heavy bottomed pan add 1.5 cup of sugar, 1.5 cup of water and 2 cardamom pods. Boil till the syrup becomes sticky. It should not reach one string consistency, and this is the key to make perfectly soaked gulab jamuns. Now keep it aside..
- In a mixing bowl take 1 cup milk powder, pre measured maida, baking soda and mix well so that it becomes uniform. Add 1 tblspn of ghee and mix again..
- Take 3 tblspn milk and 3/4 tblspn lemon juice and mix. Now pour the milk little at a time and make a stiffed yet soft dough with light hand. Do not knead the dough..
- Take small portion of the dough at a time and make balls with gentle hand. It should not have any crack. Meanwhile in a kadai heat some oil or ghee..
- When the ghee is medium hot, add the jamuns and fry them till they become golden brown. Then add them directly to the hot sugar syrup and leave for 3 to 4 hours..
- Now in small serving bowl take some rabri then add a gulab jamun. You can garnish it with some chopped nuts. Finally your gulab jamun rabri is ready to serve..
