- It's of Urad Dal 1 cup soaked for 3_4 hours.
- It's of Green chillies paste.
- Prepare of asafoetida.
- It's of Toor Dal 1 cup soaked for 1 hour.

- You need of Turmeric powder, red chilli powder.

Sambhar vada step by step
- Put the toor Dal, green chillies (3_4), ginger paste, fenugreek seeds and tomato in cooker and give 2_3 whistle.
- Now pour the urad Dal in mixer jar and add green chillies paste, asafoetida in it and grind it make a smooth paste.
- If water required than add.
- Make a small vada and deep fry in to oil.
- Open the cooker and grind the Dal and pour it in bowl.
- For sambhar : in cooker add oil give tadka of mustard seeds, cumin seeds and curry leaves.
- Add onions, brinjal and gourd and saute it for a min.
- Now add Dal in it and add all masalas.
- Add water and tamarind paste.
- Lastly add drumsticks and give one whistle on medium flame.
- Now one side soak the vada in to hot water for 10 min.
