Ingredients of Pineapple Halwa

  1. You need 1/2 cup of Semolina.
  2. Prepare 1/2 cup of Milkmaid/Sugar as required.
  3. It's 1/2 cup of Pineapple Puree.
  4. It's as needed of Water.
  5. It's 2 tbsp of Ghee.
  6. It's 1 tbsp of Cashew.
  7. You need 1/2 tbsp of Raisins.
  8. Prepare 1 tbsp of Almonds.
  9. It's 1/4 tsp of Cardamom powder.
  10. You need 3/4 cup of Chopped square Pineapple.
  11. You need 3 of Sliced Pineapple for Garnishing.
  12. Prepare as needed of Few Strands of Saffron(optional).
  13. It's 1-2 Drop of Pineapple Essence(optional).

Pineapple Halwa instructions

  1. First chop the pineapple in small cubes and keep aside. In a pan take the chopped pineapple...water and milkmaid. Add saffron to get a yellow colour...add pineapple essence for pineapple flavor. Stir well and bring to a boil. while simmering, add pineapple puree.. do stir. In another pan take ghee and heat it....then add cashews....stir and add sooji.....stir very well..
  2. Then add cardamom powder and stir.....stir & saute the rava till the cashews turn a light golden and you see ghee releasing from the sides. takes about 4 to 5 minutes on a low flame. keep on stirring, so the rava does not get bronwed..
  3. Now pour the pineapple mixture to the pan with the roasted sooji. Stir quickly and so that lumps are not formed. Simmer on a low flame and allow the sooji to absorb the water...add raisins stir well. In just about 4 minutes, the rava will soften up and the pineapple Halwa is done. Serve pineapple halwa hot as it is or garnished with some pineapple slices....or as u like..
