Ingredients of Raspberry Rasgulla

  1. You need 500 gms of Amul milk(blue packet).
  2. You need 2.5 cups of sugar.
  3. You need 1.5 cups of water.

Raspberry Rasgulla step by step

  1. Boil milk and ferment it by adding vinegar/ lemon..
  2. Filter it and wash it thoroughly and hang it in a muslin cloth and let all the water drain out for about 2 hrs..
  3. Now take all the paneer in a plate and smash it for about 6-8 mins until it becomes fluffy and soft dough like texture.
  4. Now in a pan add sugar and water and dissolve it completely and add 1tbspn milk to purify syrup completely.
  5. Once the syrup is purified let it boil for a minute..meanwhile make small balls out of paneer..make sure no cracks are formed. You can add any essence to the paneer before making a ball as I added raspberry flavor here (completely optional).
  6. Now add these balls into syrup and lid a cap and let it cook on a high flame for 10-12 mins..
  7. Once done u can check if these balls are properly cooked or not by taking out one ball and place it in a bowl or glass of cold water and it shall sink down which means it is cooked perfectly..
  8. Now remove all the balls and place it in plain water and leave it until syrup is cooled down to room temperature..
  9. Now place all the gullas into syrup and store it in a fridge for about 5-6 hrs..
