Ingredients of Sprouts Karanji

  1. Prepare 100 g of Green sprouted Moong.
  2. Prepare 100 g of Maida.
  3. You need 1 of medium Onion.
  4. Prepare 2 clove of Garlic.
  5. Prepare 1 tsp of Jeera.
  6. It's 1 tsp of Red chilli powder.
  7. You need 1/2 tsp of Turmeric powder.
  8. It's of Spinach puree.
  9. You need of Tomato puree.
  10. Prepare of Oil for frying.
  11. You need of Salt, finely chopped coriander.

Sprouts Karanji instructions

  1. For stuffing of Karanji...
  2. Heat oil in a pan, add Jeera in it....
  3. Add finely chopped Garlic, Tomato and Onion in it..
  4. Add Chilli powder, Turmeric powder, salt and mix it well. Soute it for 2 min. Add the Sprouted half boiled Moong and mix it thoroughly. Cook it for 5 mins..
  5. Stuffing is ready....
  6. For the outer covering, divide Maida into 2 parts. Take 1 part of Maida, add salt, Jeera powder and spinach puree in it. Knead well. Keep it covered.
  7. Take the remaining part of Maida, Add salt, jeera powder and tomato puree in it. Knead well keep covered..
  8. Take a small ball of Spinach dough and roll it flat. Add the sproute stuffing and close it properly in the shape of karanji..
  9. Deep fry it..
  10. Repeat the process with Tomato dough as done with Spinach dough and deep fry it..
  11. Garnish it with sev and freshly chopped coriander..
  12. Serve it with Green Chutney and Emali Chutney..
