Ingredients of Coconut Ladoo

  1. It's 2 cups of grated coconut.
  2. It's 1/2 cup of sugar.
  3. It's 7-8 of cashewnuts broken.
  4. You need 1/4 tsp of cardamom powder.
  5. Prepare 1 tsp of ghee.

Coconut Ladoo instructions

  1. Heat 1 tsp ghee in a pan. Add cashewnut and fry till golden. Remove it to a plate and keep aside..
  2. To the same pan add grated coconut and saute it for few seconds over a low flame. Then add sugar, mix well and cook for few minutes or until the mixture turns slightly sticky and starts to bind with itself..
  3. Turn off the flame. Add cardamom powder, cashewnut and mix well. Let the mixture cool down slightly..
  4. Now grease your palms with some ghee. Take small portions of the coconut mixture, roll between your palms and shape them into round balls/ ladoos of your choice..
  5. Serve the coconut ladoos straight away or refrigerate and serve them later..
