This recipe does not use any flour so its gluten free and also as no use of ghee and oil has been made so this is a very nice winter dessert with no fat and is completely Vegan.

Ingredients of Sesame Panjiri

  1. It's 1 cup of sesame seeds (til).
  2. It's 1/2 cup of whole wheat flour(atta).
  3. It's 1/3 cup of Gramflour (besan).
  4. You need 1/3 cup of semolina (suji).
  5. Prepare 1/2 cup of jaggery sugar (or as desired).
  6. You need 1/2 cup of clariefied butter (ghee).
  7. You need 1 cup of crushed mixed nuts like almonds cashew,raisins.

Sesame Panjiri step by step

  1. In a pan dry roast sesame seeds taking care not to burn. Otherwise it will taste bitter. Keep aside to cool. When cool coarsely grind it..
  2. In the same pan dry roast Wheat flour, semolina, Gramflour on slow flame stirring all the time..
  3. When it changes colour slightly, off the flame. Add in grinded sesame,nuts and clariefied butter and mix. Put on the gas flame again and cook for a minute or two. Off the gas and let it cool..
  4. Then add jaggery sugar and mix well. Sesame Panjiri is ready to eat.Keep it in an air tight container..
