  1. You need of milk.
  2. You need of milk for soaking saffron threads.
  3. You need of sugar.
  4. It's of Cardamom powder.
  5. Prepare of nutmeg powder.
  6. It's of Saffron threads soaked in milk.
  7. It's of almonds and pistachios.

Kesar Basundi step by step

  1. First soak saffron threads in 1/2 cup of milk,heat 1 litre of milk.
  2. Boil the milk on slow flame till it thickens and becomes half litre.
  3. Now add sugar,saffron soaked in milk, cardamom and nutmeg powder, stir continuously till sugar melts,then boil for more 5 minutes,it will get nice colour and aroma of saffron.
  4. Add chopped Dryfruits,put in fridge to cool it.
  5. Basundi is ready,serve cool!.
