- You need of milk.
- You need of milk for soaking saffron threads.
- You need of sugar.
- It's of Cardamom powder.
- Prepare of nutmeg powder.
- It's of Saffron threads soaked in milk.
- It's of almonds and pistachios.
Kesar Basundi step by step
- First soak saffron threads in 1/2 cup of milk,heat 1 litre of milk.
- Boil the milk on slow flame till it thickens and becomes half litre.
- Now add sugar,saffron soaked in milk, cardamom and nutmeg powder, stir continuously till sugar melts,then boil for more 5 minutes,it will get nice colour and aroma of saffron.
- Add chopped Dryfruits,put in fridge to cool it.
- Basundi is ready,serve cool!.
