- You need of full fat milk.
- You need of saffron.
- You need of cardamom powder.
- You need of sugar.
- You need of chopped almonds.
- You need of chopped pistachios.
Kesar Basundi instructions
- Heat milk in a heavy bottom pan and bring it to boil. Soak the saffron into 2 spoon hot milk..
- Once it starts boiling reduce the flame and cook the milk till reduced to half..
- Keep stirring and scraping the sides..
- Now add sugar, soaked saffron and cardamom powder, another cook for 10-12 minutes then switch off the flame..
- Let it be cool than garnish with chopped almonds and pistachios and serve..
