  1. Prepare 50 gms of chana dal (chickpea).
  2. You need 1 of medium sized tomatoe.
  3. Prepare 1 of small sized onion.
  4. Prepare 1 tsp of lemon juice.
  5. It's 1/2 tsp of black pepper powder.
  6. You need Handful of corrainder leaves.
  7. Prepare as per taste of Rock Salt.

  1. Wash and soak chana dal for 5 hours..
  2. You can use same soaked water or add more water if required and cook chana for about 6 to 7 whistles in a pressure cooker until it becomes soft when you mush it..
  3. On the other hand start chopping onion, tomatoes and corrainder leaves..
  4. Take boiled chana, remove any excess water. Add chana, tomatoes, onions into a bowl. Add pinch of salt, black pepper powder, sqeeze half a bit of lemon and mix the ingredients well before serving. Sprinkle corrainder leaves on top..
