- It's 500 gm of chicken cut into medium sized pieces.
- You need 1/2 cup of yogurt.
- Prepare 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric.

- You need 1 of medium sized onion finely chopped.
- You need 1 teaspoon of red chilli powder.
- It's 1 teaspoon of kashmiri red chilli powder.
- You need 4 of green cardamom.
- Prepare 4 of cloves.
- Prepare 1 inch of cinnamon stick.
- It's 2 teaspoon of tomato ketchup.
- It's 1 teaspoon of coriander powder.
- It's 1/2 cup of coriander leaves chopped.
- You need 1 teaspoon of black pepper powder.
- It's 1 teaspoon of garam masala powder.
- Prepare 1 teaspoon of ghee.
- Prepare of Vegetable oil as required.
- Prepare of Salt as required.
- You need of Sugar as required.

- Marinate the chicken with yogurt, turmeric powder, salt, half of the ginger paste and half of the garlic paste, for at least one hour..
- Heat some oil in a wok. Add the cardamom, cloves, cinnamon and saute it till the aroma comes out of it. Add the onions and a pinch of salt..
- Fry till golden brown..
- Add the rest of the ginger paste, garlic paste, coriander powder, red chilli powder, kashmiri red chilli powder and saute it very well, till the oil separates..
- Add the marinated chicken and mix it very well. Cover it with a lid..
- After 10min, uncover it and saute it well. Add the tomato ketchup and black pepper powder and again mix it for a while..
- If the chicken is still harder then add some lukewarm water and cover it for next 15min..
- Uncover the wok and add the garam masala powder, coriander leaves and ghee..
- As you get the desired consistency of the gravy, remove it from the flame and serve hot..
