- Prepare 2 cups of Dosa batter.
- You need 2 of finely chopped onion.
- Prepare 1 of finely chopped tomato.
- Prepare 2 of green chillies finely chopped.
- It's As required of Coriander leaves for garnish.
- You need 2 tbsp of molgapodi/dosa podi powder (a dry chutney powder).
- It's 1-2 tsp of Ghee.
- Prepare 2 tbsp of Oil.
- You need To taste of salt.
- It's As required of Water.

- In a big bowl put the Dosa batter and salt,mix well and bring to required consistency.The batter should be not very thick nor it should be very watery..
- Then add green chilli,little chopped tomatoes, onion and coriander leaves & mix again..
- Then heat a non stick tawa.
- When nice and hot pour a laddle full of the Uttapam batter and spread the batter to form a thick circle shaped Uttapam..
- Sprinkle on the Uttapam a few pieces of the chopped tomatoes,onion and coriander leaves..
- Then sprinkle some dry malgapodi powder on the Uttapam and drizzle oil and little ghee on the Uttapam and cook it covered with a lid..
- Then flip the Uttapam.Drizzle a few drops of oil on this side also.When done,remove it from the tawa and turn off the gas..
- Serve hot with chutneys of your choice, sambhar etc or can be eaten just like that,plain without any accompaniments..
