- You need 1 of big beetroot.
- You need 1 tbsp of pulp of tamarind.
- You need 1/2 tsp of salt.
- You need 1 tsp of coriander seeds.
- It's 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds.
- You need 8-10 of curryleaves.
- Prepare 1 of red chilli.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of oil.
- Prepare pinch of asafoetida.

Chukandar wala rasam instructions
- Boil whole beetroot with skin for 10 mins.
- Peel and Cut beetroot into small cubes.
- Roast coriander seeds, cumin seeds and redchilli Add all this to beet cubes and blend it fine along with tamarind paste.
- Make a tadka of asafoetida, mustard seeds and curry leaves with heated oil.
- Cook beetroot puree along with 3-4 glass of water and salt for 10 mins on low flame.
- Enjoy this hot drink by adding tadka on top.
