Toor Dal rasam step by step
- Slice onions, tomato, curry leaves and garlic..
- Pressure cooker toor Dal for 6 whistles and mash it by adding some water..
- Soak tamarind for 20 mintutes.
- Take a pan and pour oil, once the oil heats add mustard and cumin seeds, once it starts spluttering add onions, curry leaves, green chilli, again and turmeric and salt. Roast it for couple of minutes in low flame and add carrot, tomato, keep the stove in low flame and close it with a lid, open it and see, if the tomato cooked properly add the roasted and ground coriander, cumin and fenugreek powder into that and also, mix the tamarind well and pour tamarind water into it..
