Ingredients of Chicken Keema / Mince Masala

  1. Prepare 300 Grams of Minced Chicken.
  2. You need 4 of medium sized Onion finely chopped.
  3. It's 3 of Puree made from 3 medium sized tomatoes.
  4. You need 1/2 Tsp of cumin seeds -.
  5. Prepare 2 Tsp of red chilli powder.
  6. You need 1 Tsp of turmeric powder.
  7. Prepare 2 Tsp of coriander powder -.
  8. It's to taste of - Salt.
  9. Prepare 1 1/2 Tsp of garam masala powder.
  10. Prepare 2 of bay leaves.
  11. It's , 3-4 of cloves.
  12. It's 1 Tbsp of ginger garlic paste.
  13. It's 2 Tbsp of oil.
  14. Prepare stick of small cinnamon.
  15. It's 2 Tbsp of curd - chopped green chilli.
  16. You need as needed of coriander leaves-.

Minced chicken sauteed in onion - tomatoes and flavored with aromatic Indian spices. Chicken is lower in calories as compared to mutton. Secret to a great keema is the way it is cooked.

Chicken Keema / Mince Masala instructions

  1. Heat a pan on a medium flame and add oil - When hot add cumin seeds and let it crackle.
  2. Add bay leaves, cloves, cinnamon stick & Saute for few seconds.
  3. Add chopped onions and saute until translucent  - Once onion changes it's colour - add ginger garlic paste and give it a mix.
  4. Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder and stir well.
  5. Add minced chicken and mix well with onions and spices until well combined.
  6. Add tomato puree, curd, green chilli, salt as per taste - keep stiring until mixed well.
  7. Add coriander leaves and give it a mix again - Add 1 glass water - cover it with a lid and let it cook for 30 minutes.
  8. Keema masala is now ready - add few coriander leaves give it a mix.
  9. Turn off the flame and remove it in a serving dish -.
