  1. Heat ghee in a pressure cooker and add half crushed garam masala.When they splutter add the washed and dried rice.Add sugar and salt and 1 bay leaf.Add 2 cups water and saffron soaked milk.Add ginger paste and little turmeric.Pressure cook 2 whistles and open after 5 minutes.Garnish with roasted broken cashewnuts and raisins and toss lightly after 5 minutes..
