- It's of Big tomatoes.
- Prepare of piece of ginger.
- You need of bulb garlic.
- It's of coriander leaves with stem.
- Prepare of dry chilli.
- Prepare of mustard seeds.
- Prepare of urud dal.
- Prepare of shallot sliced.
- Prepare of curry leaves.
- Prepare of pepper balls.
- It's of jeera.
- You need of turmeric powder.

Tomato Rasam step by step
- In microwave or a vessel cook the tomatoes to good pulpy state..
- Heat oil in a earthen pot. Splutter the mustard seeds.. Add the urud Dal and then the diced shallots, dry chillies and curry leaves..
- Grind the peppercones, jeera, Coriander with stalk,ginger and garlic to a coarse paste. Don't grind it smooth..
- Add this grinded paste to the earthen pot and stir nicely till raw smell goes off. Add the turmeric powder, hingand salt to it. Give it a good stir..
- Add the tomatoes precooked and give good stir add water and cover and cook nicely. Garnish it with coriander leaves..
- Let it cook for 5 to 10 minutes and serve it hot with rice or as a soup..
