  2. You need of Chopped Coriander Leaves.
  3. Prepare of Garlic Cloves.

  1. Blanch tomatoes, this is optional but it renders beautiful red colour to Rasam. Ground tomatoes to smooth puree.
  2. Grind coriander leaves, garlic, ginger, cumin seeds, pepper to coarse paste.
  3. Heat oil or ghee in a pan.Splutter mustard seeds.
  4. Add urad dal and saute until golden brown.
  5. Add curry leaves, red chilies and ground paste. Saute for few seconds..
