Ingredients of Basanti Pulav
- Prepare 300 gm of Govindo Bhog Rice.
- You need 1.5 tsp of turmeric powder.
- It's 1 teaspoon of black pepper powder.
- It's to taste of Salt.

- Prepare 1/2 cup of green peas.
- It's 1/2 cup of beans cut into small pieces.
- Prepare 1-2 of bay leaves.

Basanti Pulav step by step
- Clean and soak the rice for 30 mins.
- Drain out the water and mix turmeric, salt, black pepper and some oil and keep it in this marination for 1.5 hours.
- Heat a pan and add ghee. Once it's hot add the bay leaves, red chilli and all garam masala whole.
- Once they crackle add the marinated rice and saute it well. Mix the beans and peas and saute it again.
- Add double the amount of water and cover and let it cook in low flame. Keep stirring in between.
- Once the rice is cooked almost 90% close the gas and let it stay covered.
- Serve it hot with dahi or some fries or chutney.
