  23. Prepare 1 tsp of oil1 tsp coriander seeds / dhaniya seeds.
  24. Prepare 1/2 tsp of jeera / cumin seeds.
  25. Prepare 10 of methi seeds / fenugreek seeds.
  26. Prepare 3 of dried kashmiri red chilli / lal mirch.

  1. Wash urad dal until the water runs clear..
  2. Soak it enough water for 2 hours..
  3. Drain the water and add it to a blender jar along with 2 to 3 tbsps water and salt as needed..
  4. Blend it to a smooth fluffy batter adding more water as needed..
  5. The batter has to be thick like the vada batter..
  6. .Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well..
  7. Beat the batter for 2 to 3 mins..
  8. Making mysore bonda.
  9. Heat oil in a deep pan..
  10. When the oil is hot enough, take small portions of this batter and drop in the oil..
  11. Stir and fry until golden..
  12. Transfer them to an absorbent tissue..
  13. Serve mysore bonda hot with any chutney or Rasam..
  14. Firstly, add a tsp of oil and roast coriander seeds, jeera, methi seeds, red chilli, curry leaves and pepper..
  15. Blend to fine powder. keep side..
  16. In a kadai take tomatoes, green chilli and curry leaves..
  17. Also add tamarind extract, turmeric, jaggery and salt..
  18. Cover and boil the tamarind water for 15 minutes..
  19. Add 2 cups of water and get to boil..
  20. Now add cooked toor dal and mix well..
  21. Also add prepared rasam powder or udupi rasam powder..
  22. Mix well and continue to boil for 2 minutes..
  23. Meanwhile, prepare for tempering by heating oil..
  24. Add mustard, urad dal, dried red chilli, curry leaves and hing..
