Ingredients of Cabbage Vadi
- Prepare 1 of small cabbage grated.
- It's 1/2 cup of coriander leaves chopped.
- You need 1 of small tea cup gramflour.
- Prepare 2 tbsp of rice flour or cornflour.
- You need 1 tbsp of kanda lasun masala.
- It's 8-10 of garlic cloves.
- Prepare 3 of green chillies.
- It's 1 tsp of cumin seeds.
- Prepare 1/4 tsp of turmeric.
- You need to taste of salt.
- Prepare pinch or 1/4 tsp of ajwain / hing.
Cabbage Vadi step by step
- Grind garlic green chilli cumin seed to coarse paste.
- Transfer grated cabbage to a bowl add garlic green chilli cumin paste gramflour rice flour kanda lasun masala turmeric salt to taste hing coriander leaves mix everything well first.
- If the mixture looks to wet to handle then add little gramflour to adjust consistency..grease a sieve with oil...make long and cylindrical shaped log of the cabbage mixture.
- Keep these prepared logs on the greased sieve 1 inch apart as they will increase in size after steaming.
- Heat water in vessel once water starts boiling keep sieve inside on a stand top and then cover lid....steam for 15 to 20 minutes on medium flame.
- Then remove cool and cut them into slices deep fry in hot oil over medium heat until ligh golden serve with ketchup.
