- It's 1 of medium sized mango.
- It's 1/3 cup of sugar.
- It's 1/2 cup of suji or rava.
- Prepare 1/4 tsp of cardamom powder.

- In a kadai or pan take 3 tbsp ghee and let it melt. Now add 1/2 cup rava or suji..
- Roast the suji in the ghee on a low medium flame stirring continuously..
- Once the rava is roasted well then it will become aromatic and its colour will also change. The ghee will starts separating. Now add mango purée and mix well..
- Now add boiling water slowly. Keep stirring the halwa so that lumps are not formed..
- After stirring cover the pan with a lid and cook on a low flame for 4 mins. All the water will be absorbed and kesari will be done..
