Ingredients of Sooji Burfi
- It's 1 cup of sooji.
- Prepare 3 tbsp of maida.
- You need 1 1/2 cup of milk.
- You need 1 cup of sugar.
- You need 3/4 cup of ghee.
- You need Pinch of cardamon powder.
- Prepare 2 tbsp of chopped nuts.
- You need 2 tbsp of Slivered nuts (cashew and almonds).
- Prepare As needed of Few Dried rose petals for garnish.
Sooji Burfi step by step
- Firstly remove sooji and replace with 3 tbsp maida..
- Add this flour sooji mixture to a bowl. Add all the milk into it. Mix well and keep aside..
- Heat a sauce pan with the ghee.Add some nuts and roast.Add the sugar.Let it caramelise. Stir once or twice in between..
- As soon as it caramalises add the milk sooji mixture stirring continuously carefully as the mixture will bubble up. Gradually it will form a smooth lump..
- Now sprinkle the cardamon powder.Mix well and spread on a greased tray..
- Garnish with more slivered nuts and dried rose petals..
- Cut and serve.
