  3. Prepare 1/2 cup of condensed milk.
  4. Prepare 3/4 cup of mawa.
  5. You need 1/2 cup of soaked chironji (charoli).
  6. You need 1/4 cup of milk to make charoli paste.
  7. You need 1/2 tsp of green cardamom powder.

  10. Prepare 3/4 cup of chopped cashew and pistachio.
  11. It's 1 tbsp of raisins.
  12. You need 3/4 cup of desi ghee.

  14. You need 2 tbsp of roasted pistachio powder.

Caramel Millet Burfi instructions

  1. Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a pan and roast the chopped makhane,dry nuts and raisins in this till plesant smell when done keep aside.
  2. Again heat some ghee and roast the bajra flour till pleasant smell when done keep aside.
  3. First grind the soaked charoli with milk and make paste of this. Now roast the charoli paste with some hot ghee in low flame to pleasant smell.
  4. Heat some ghee in other pan add sugar,cook till caramelized, when done add condensed milk and mavaa carefully in this and mix well, now switch of gas.
  5. Mix roasted bajra flour and charoli paste and mix well on very low flame.
  6. Now add caramelized sugar and condensed milk mixture and stir on low flame,add remaining ghee in this to roast well.
  7. When all combine well and start to thick add roasted nuts, raisins and makhane in this and mix well.
  8. Add kewra and cardamom powder stir and mix.
  9. Grease the dish with ghee, transfer the mixture in this, spread evenly, stick silver warq and sprinkle pistachio powder over the top cut in optional size pieces and left to cool and set.
