Ingredients of Sarkarai Pongal
- You need 100 gm of Raw rice.
- It's 50 gm of Yellow moong dal.
- It's 100 gm of Jaggery.
- You need 150 gm of Ghee.
- You need as needed of Cashew and raisins.
- You need 1/4 tsp of Cardamom powder.
Sarkarai Pongal instructions
- Wash rice and dal cook it in a pressure cooker.Add 600 gm water. Cook upto 5 whistle..
- Break jaggery and add little water until it immerse.cook it till no lumps filter and cool it..
- When rice is ready add jaggery water to it. Wait till it tightens add cardamom powder and cashew and raisins.
