Ingredients of Green Peas Burfi

  1. It's 2 cups of grated mawa(khoya).
  2. You need 1 cup of fresh green peas.
  3. It's 3/4 cup of sugar.
  4. It's 3 tbsp of desi ghee.
  5. You need 1 tbsp of cashew nut paste.
  6. You need 1 tbsp of roasted sesame.
  7. Prepare few of cashewnuts.
  8. You need 3/4 tsp of green cardamom powder.

Green Peas Burfi instructions

  1. Grind the peas in the mixie with little water..
  2. Take a pan,pour desi ghee in it..
  3. When it heats up,add grinded peas paste in it.Stir continuously till all the moisture evaporates..
  4. Add grated mava in it & mix well, continuously saute it till well blended..
  5. Now add sugar,mix & saute..
  6. Grind few cashews in the mixie & make a paste.put this paste in the pan and saute peas.Add few cashews & mix well..
  7. Grease the tray with little ghee & pour the mixture in it, Spread evenly..
  8. Roast sesame seeds in a pan till they become little brown in colour..
  9. Sprinkle these on the mixture..
  10. Let it cool down at room temperature & then keep it in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes..
  11. Cut in to squares & serve..
