- It's 1/2 cup of pongal rice.
- Prepare 1/4 cup of moong dal.
- Prepare 3-4 of cloves.
- You need 1 cup of jaggery.
- It's 2 cup of water.
- Prepare 2 tbsp of ghee.
- You need 5-6 of cashew nuts.
- You need 5-6 of kismis.
Sakkarai Pongal instructions
- Take a bowl and add pongal rice and moong dal washed and soaked in water..
- And after half hour strain rice and moong.. and proper cooked in cooker with 4 whistles..
- U can checked rice and moong dal.. it's proper cooked remove in cooker and keep aside..
- Take one pan and add jaggery and water and mix it well..
- Jaggery dissolve in water so u add rice and moong daal and add cloves and mix it well..
- And take tadka bowl and add ghee and cashew nuts and kismis and saute..
- And pour in rice and moong dal mixture...
- Ready and serve ur sakkarai pongal..
