Ingredients of Moong Payasam
- You need 1 cup of moong dhal.
- Prepare 1 bowl of jaggery.
- You need 1 cup of coconut milk.
- It's 1 tbsp of ghee.
- Prepare of Nuts for garnishing.
Moong Payasam instructions
- First, Prepare jaggery syrup. In a pan add jaggery and 1/4th cup of water. Cook till the syrup is done. Pressure cook moong dhal for 5 to 6 whistles..
- Once pressure is out mash the moong dhal. Add jaggery syrup to it. Finally add coconut milk. Garnish with loads of nuts fried in ghee. Serve it hot or cold.
