  2. Prepare 1/2 cup of green moong dhal.
  3. It's Handful of curry patta.
  4. You need 1/2 teaspoon of jeera.
  5. You need 1/2 inch of grated ginger.
  6. You need 1/2 teaspoon of pepper powder.
  7. Prepare to taste of Salt.
  8. You need 2 teaspoon of ghee.
  9. Prepare 1 of green chilli.
  10. Prepare 1 pinch of hing.
  11. Prepare 1 teaspoon of tamarind pulp.
  12. It's 4 cups of water.
  13. Prepare handful of Coriander.

Oats Pongal step by step

  1. Soak the green moong overnight and pressure cook for 4 whistles and salt and keep aside..
  2. Now take a pan add one teaspoon ghee jeera hing and cook well then add 4 cups of water and salt to taste and grated ginger at this stage make it come to a boil. Now add the oats and cook well. Once cooked add the cooked moong daal with pepper powder and make it come to a boil..
  3. Now add tamarind pulp and make close and simmer it for 2 mins..
  4. Garnish with coriander and before serving add ghee to it..
