- It's 1/2 cup of quick oats.
- Prepare 1/2 cup of green moong dhal.
- It's Handful of curry patta.
- You need 1/2 teaspoon of jeera.
- You need 1/2 inch of grated ginger.
- You need 1/2 teaspoon of pepper powder.
- Prepare to taste of Salt.
- You need 2 teaspoon of ghee.
- Prepare 1 of green chilli.
- Prepare 1 pinch of hing.

Oats Pongal step by step
- Soak the green moong overnight and pressure cook for 4 whistles and salt and keep aside..
- Now take a pan add one teaspoon ghee jeera hing and cook well then add 4 cups of water and salt to taste and grated ginger at this stage make it come to a boil. Now add the oats and cook well. Once cooked add the cooked moong daal with pepper powder and make it come to a boil..
- Now add tamarind pulp and make close and simmer it for 2 mins..
- Garnish with coriander and before serving add ghee to it..
