- Heat 2 tsp ghee and roast cashews and raisins on low flame keep aside..
- Now in the same ghee roast suji on low flame till it turns aromatic keep aside..
- In a large kadai boil water keep the flame on low add in roasted suji stir continuously till the rava absorbs water and no lumps are formed..
- Add sugar,keeping the flame on low stir well till the sugar dissolves..
- Add saffron water or kesari food colour,also add 1/4 cup ghee and stir continuously..
- Make sure the mixture is combined well,cover and simmer for 2 minutes or till rava gets cooked well..
- Add roasted cashews,raisins cardamom powder mix well..
- Serve hot.
