Ingredients of Ghee Pongal
- You need 1/2 cup of Moong dal -.
- It's 1/2 cup of Raw rice -.
- It's 1.5 tsps of Ghee -.
- It's 6 of Cashews -.
- Prepare to taste of Salt.
- Prepare 1 tsp of jeera -.
- You need 1/2 tsp of pepper -.
- Prepare 2 of Green chilli -.
- You need a few of Curry leaves -.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of ginger - chopped.

Ghee Pongal instructions
- Soak rice and moong dhal for 30 mins.
- Dry roast moong dhal and set aside.Pressure cook rice and dhal with 4 cups of water for 3 whistles.
- Fry the cashews with ghee and set aside.
- Take oil in a pan and add jeera,pepper,ginger,green chilly,curry leaves and fry for 2 mins.
- Add salt,peringayam(hing)..
- Add these to cooked pongal.Mix well.add little ghee to it.
