  1. Soak rice and dal for 5-6hours.
  2. Drain and transfer to a grinder jar along with ginger, coriander,green chilli,cumin.Grind to a batter using very little water.Add salt.Check the consistency of the batter..
  3. Grease a Dosa tawa or griddle with little oil and pour a ladleful of a batter and spread it in a circular motion..
  4. Drizzle oil and allow to cook on medium flame till crisp..
  5. Serve with chutney..
