  1. Prepare 1/2 cup of moong daal.
  2. You need 1/2 cup of urad daal.
  3. Prepare 2 of green chillies chopped.
  4. You need 1 inch of ginger.

  7. You need 1/4 tsp of Hing / asafoetida.

  1. Wash 3 to 4 times of daal and soaked in water about 4 hours.after 4 hours check it.if your daal is perfectly soaked in water then add daal,ginger and green chilli in mixi jar..grind it.. make a smooth paste.Don't use much water for grinding.your batter is not very thick and not very watery.This step is very important in dahi bade..
  2. KEY STEP OF DAHI BADE:-After grinding the daal whisk the batter with hands in ONLY ONE DIRECTION for about 10 mins.Your batter becomes fluffy like cakes batter and it's colour change from yellowish to white in colour.
  3. When your batter of dahi bade becomes fluffy then drop the batter in oil with the help of spoon put gas flame on low to medium,if oil very hot then your bade is cooked from outside,and it's thickened from inside..
  4. Meanwhile WARM the water and add little pinch of salt and hing powder into it,dissolve,put fry bade into warm water about 10 mins.
  5. When it soaked water,remove bade's from water and press it by palm and remove excess water from it..
  6. Take a strainer put cotton cloth on it...pour curd on cotton cloth and make potli of it (for removing excess water in the curd)kept potli about 2 to 3 hour..after 3 hours remove curd from cloth and pour into bowl add sugar in curd and whisk it.your creamy curd is now ready.
  7. In serving dish put some bade's.add curd on it and add coriander chutney,tamarind chutney,red chilli powder and black salt,your soft and fluffy bade' s now ready to eat🥣😋.
