  2. Prepare of - turmeric powder.

Pomfret Fish Fry step by step

  1. In a blender, add ginger-garlic paste, chilly powder, coriander powder, peppercorns, cumin seeds,tamarind water and grind it into a thick paste.(add little bit water if required)..
  2. For tamarind water soak the tamarind in hot water for 10 minutes and then extract the water separately from the pulp..
  3. Now add rice flour to the fish masala and mix it well and coat the fish on both sides using masala..
  4. Marinate the fish for 30 minutes to 2 hours..
  5. Add 2-3 tsp oil in a pan and shallow fry the fishes each side for 2 minutes..
  6. Serve it hot..
