Ingredients of Aam Kesari
- You need 1/2 cup of semolina.
- You need 1/2 cup of or more sugar.
- It's 2 tbsp of saffron milk.
- Prepare 2 of ripe mangoes peeled, cored and chopped.
- You need 1/3 cup of ghee.
- Prepare 1 cup of water.
- It's 10 of cashews.
- Prepare 1/8 tsp of cardamom.
- You need 1 tbsp of chopped nuts to garnish.
Aam Kesari instructions
- Blend mango and sugar to form smooth puree. Keep it aside.
- Heat ghee in a kadai, fry cashews and keep it aside. In same pan, add semolina, roast until fragrant. It should take 3-4 minutes.
- Add water, saffron milk, cardamom and cashews. Cook until it starts thickening.
- Add mango puree and mix well. Cook until it lightly thickens but still lightly runny.
- Allow to cool, garnish with nuts and serve.
