Seeraga sambha mutton briyani step by step
- Marinate the mutton with curd, coriander powder, chilli power, lemon juice and salt. Refrigerate for 1 hr. After one hr keep it in cooker with 2 cup of water and give 4 whistle..
- To Make mutton masala, roast all the masala items which is listed under to grind.
- In pan add oil, then add onion first and wait till it's turn into golden colour the add bay leaves.
- Then add green chilli (make it as coarse paste) along with all the masala power which is under "to grind".Then add ginger garlic paste, cook till get rid of raw smell..
- Then add tomatos, curry leaves, mint leaves,.
- Cook till oil comes out then add cooked mutton while adding mutton add only mutton keep the stock water separately.Fry for 5 mins then add stock water along with plain water (totally it should be 6 cups as we are adding 3 cup rice).
- Wash rice nicely for 3 to 4 times and soak it in water for 20 mins then add it.Keep it in closed cooker for 7 mins with whistle, once it's done add little lemon juice give one gentle mix. Serve it with raitha.
