Ingredients of Chicken Masala
- Prepare 750 gm of chicken.
- Prepare 3 of Potatoes.
- Prepare 3 of onions.
- You need 6-8 cloves of garlic.
- You need 1" of ginger.
- You need 1 of tomato chopped- pureed.
- Prepare 1 teaspoon of red chilli Powder.
- Prepare 1 teaspoon of meat masala.
- Prepare 1 tea spoon of turmeric powder.
- You need 1 teaspoon of whole jeera.
- It's 1 of bay leaf.
- You need 1-2 pod of green cardamoms.
- It's 2 of cloves.
- You need 1 stick of cinnamon.
- You need To taste of salt.
- Prepare As needed of oil and ghee.
Chicken Masala instructions
- Wash and marinate the chicken pieces with salt, turmeric,chilli,ginger garlic paste and oil.keep for at least half an hour.
- Peel and cut the Potatoes into four halves..
- Make a paste of onion, ginger and garlic.
- Now heat a pan and add oil,temper the whole jeera,garam masala and bay leaf.
- Now fry the Potatoes adding salt and turmeric powder.
- Remove the Potatoes and saute the paste..
- Add red chilli powder and the marinated chicken pieces and the fried potatoes..
- Cover and keep on a low heat.
- As the chicken pieces get tender add tomato puree/ chopped and mix well.
- Pour warm water according to your need and cover.
- Finally add ghee and meat masala and sugar(optional).
- Chicken masala is ready.
