Ingredients of Custard Rice Kheer
- You need 1 Ltr of full fat milk.
- Prepare 50 gm of Rice.
- It's 2 tsp of vanilla custard powder.
- You need 1/2 cup of condensed milk or sugar (or as per sweetness).
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of cardamom powder.
- It's of Few saffron strings (optional).
- Prepare of Some nuts - cashews, almonds,pista, raisins and chirongi.
Custard Rice Kheer step by step
- First wash and soak rice in enough water for atleast half an hour then crush with fingers and keep aside..
- Heat milk in a heavy bottomed pan or nonstick pan.bring it up to a boil..
- Add soaked/crushed rice, cardamom powder and saffron.stir well and cook until little thick in consistency..
- Add 2 tbsp cold milk in custard powder mix well,there should be any lumps.add custard mixture in kheer and cook until you get desired consistency of kheer..
- Add condensed milk/sugar and nuts.Stir for a min and switch off the flame..
- Delicious Custard flavor Rice kheer is ready to serve..
