Ingredients of Whosayna’s Badaami Sooji Halwa
- It's 2 cups @250gms of Sooji/Semolina (coarse).
- You need 1/2 cup of Sugar (to yor taste).
- You need 1/2 cup of Evaporated milk (tin milk).
- Prepare 2-3 cups of Fresh milk.
- Prepare 1/2 cup of Ghee.
- You need 2 tbsp of Khhoya (grated).
- It's of Almonds chopped.
- You need of Cashew nuts chopped.
- Prepare of Pista (chopped).
- You need 1/2 cup of Almond powder.
- It's of few Saffron strands.
- You need 1 tsp of Elaichi powder.
- You need 1/2 cup of Milk powder.
Whosayna’s Badaami Sooji Halwa step by step
- In a broad pot or pan put ghee then keep on flame add sooji and almond powder, roast till pinkish/creamish colour or nice aroma arises add milk powder and khoya and braise lil.....
- On the other hand mix both milk and keep on boil, when sooji is roasted keep medium flame and add hot milk, saffron and cardamon mix well and cook while stirring it at intervals, just before milk dries add few nuts and lower the flame, if it's dry can add milk and keep on simmer till done....
- When serving garnish with nuts......
