Ingredients of Zarda Pulao 😋
- You need 120 grams of basmati rice.
- It's of Orange food colour.
- Prepare of Kesar.
- Prepare of Dry fruits.
- Prepare of Sugar as per taste.
- Prepare of Salt.
- Prepare of Water as required.
- It's of Ghee.
- You need 1 of bay leaf, 1 dried red chilli.
- You need 2-3 of cloves, 2 elaichi 1 cinammon stick.
- It's 3 tbsp of cold milk.
Zarda Pulao 😋 instructions
- Wash the rice and soak it in water for a about 15 mins. Now take 3 tbsp of milk in a cup and add few kesar strands to it & keep it aside. Now take a pan and pour some water. As the water comes to a boil, add half tsp of food colour and add in the soaked rice. Now boil the rice till 80%.
- Strain the rice. Take a pan, add 3 to 4 tbsp of ghee, fry some dry fruits & keep it aside. Now in the same pan add the bay leaf, dried red chilli, cloves, elaichi, cinammon and let them splutter a bit, add in the rice along with the dry fruits. Add some salt and 4 tbsp sugar and kesar milk to it. Cover it and let it cook in a low flame for about 12 to 15 mins and you are done..
