  4. You need 6-7 Tbsp of sugar.
  5. It's 2 cups of water.
  6. You need 8-10 Tbsp of canola oil to fry the Malpua.

Doi or Dahi Malpua instructions

  1. In a bowl beat the Dahi or yoghurt very well.
  2. Add water in a bowl and boil. Once boiling add sugar and stir to dissolve to make sugar syrup. Set aside.
  3. In a bowl add Maida and add 1 Tbsp oil and mix well so that there is no lumps.
  4. Add 1 Tbsp at a time the Maida mix to the beaten yoghurt and stir very well.
  5. Add fennel seeds once all Maida is added to the yoghurt.
  6. Now take one ladle and pour into the wok where oil is heated.
  7. Pour the fried Malpua to the sugar syrup and keep for couple of mins until the syrup gets inside the Malpua. Set aside.
  8. Ready to enjoy the Malpua.
