Vanilla Cake with Butter Cream Frosting instructions
- Take a bowl add Butter and whisk with hand mixer for 2 min..
- Add powdered sugar and whisk well for 5 min at medium speed..
- Add 4 eggs and keep whisking by adding one egg at a time. Whisk at medium speed for 5 min..
- Add Baking Powder, Baking Soda, Vanilla essence and whisk for 1 min..
- Add sifted All purpose flour, Wheat flour and whisk to combine..
- Add oil and mix just to combine..
- Transfer the cake batter to a greased cake tin..
- Preheat the microwave to 180 degrees. Put the tray into oven and bake for 45 min..
- Bake the cake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean..
- Let the cake cool completely and then remove it from the tray..
- Meanwhile to prepare Buttercream Frosting: Take a bowl, add all purpose flour to water, stir well. Bring to boil, add sugar and stir well until it comes to semi liquid state..
- Pour the mixture into a bowl and close it with a foil. Let it cool completely..
- Take a bowl add Butter and whisk for 7 min at medium speed using a hand mixer..
- Freeze the bowl with contents and hand mixer blades for about 15 min..
- Take out the bowl and whisk for 10 min at medium speed or until the butter changes its color to white and becomes double the quantity..
- Now keep whisking by adding the mixture (Prepared in step 10) in 3 installments to the butter. Add Vanilla Essence and whisk till combines..
- Applying Frosting to Cake: Once the cake completely cools down, cut the cake horizontally into 2 equal slices..
- Remove the top slice and keep it aside. Now spread the frosting cream on top of cake..
- Now take the top layer of the cake which is kept aside and place it on top of the frosting..
- Apply frosting on top and to the sides of the cake evenly..
- Add ingredients for topping on top of the cake..
- Make small swrills on the cake using piping bag. Insert blue berries on top of them (Optional)..
