Ingredients of Masala Bhindi
- It's 200 gm of bhindi (okra).
- You need 1 of onion sliced.
- You need pinch of hing/asafoetida.
- Prepare 1 of Tomato.
- You need 2 of Green chilli.
- You need To taste of salt.
- It's 1/2 tsp of red chilli powder.
- It's 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder.
- It's 1/2 tsp of garam masala.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of mango powder (amchur).
- Prepare 2 tsp of cooking oil.
Masala Bhindi instructions
- Wash and pat dry bhindi. Remove it's top. Now cut each bhindi in small fine pieces. Heat cooking oil in a karahi. Add hing then add green chillies. Add onion and stir fry for 2 minutes..
- Now add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and stir. Cook for 2 minutes or till oil leaves the karahi. Put bhindi and mix well. Cover the lid and cook for 5 minutes on low flame. Now open the lid and add mango powder, then add tomato and mix. Cover the lid and cook for another 5 minutes. Serve with steamed rice..
