  1. You need 1 cup of tur Dal.
  2. It's 2 of chopped tomatoes.
  3. You need 1 bunch of spinach.
  4. Prepare handful of coriander leaves.
  5. It's Handful of mint leaves.
  6. It's 2 of chopped green chilli.
  7. It's 1 tsp of red chilli.
  8. Prepare 1 tsp of turmeric powder.
  9. It's 1 tsp of amchur (dry mango)powder.
  10. You need to taste of Salt.
  11. It's 2 tsp of oil.
  12. You need 2 cup of water.
  13. It's 1/2 tsp of mustard seeds.
  14. Prepare 1/2 tsp of Cumin seed.
  15. It's 1/2 tsp of urad Dal.
  16. It's 1/2 tsp of Hing(asafoetida).
  17. You need as needed of Curry leaves.
  18. Prepare as needed of Dried red chilli.

Andhra Style Palak Papu step by step

  1. Take a bowl add tur dal and wash it and soak it in Dal for 20 min..
  2. Cut the spinach and wash it.
  3. Take pressure cooker add 1 cup tur Dal, chopped tomatoes,green chilli,amchur powder,salt,spinach,coriander,mint turmeric powder,red chilli powder add 2 cups water and cover it with lid and pressure cook it untill 5 whistles..
  4. After 5 whistles let the cooker cool down and after it cools down open the lid and whisk the Dal with churner and keep it aside..
  5. Take a pan add 2 tspn of oil once the oil is heated add cumin & mustard seeds,urad Dal then add dried red chilli,curry leaves, Hing then pour the Dal in the pan and cook it at shimmer for 2 min then add coriander and mix it.Your Andhra style Jain papu is ready..
