- You need 1 cup of tur Dal.
- It's 2 of chopped tomatoes.
- You need 1 bunch of spinach.
- Prepare handful of coriander leaves.
- It's Handful of mint leaves.
- It's 2 of chopped green chilli.
- It's 1 tsp of red chilli.
- Prepare 1 tsp of turmeric powder.
- It's 1 tsp of amchur (dry mango)powder.
- You need to taste of Salt.
- It's 2 tsp of oil.
- You need 2 cup of water.
- It's 1/2 tsp of mustard seeds.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of Cumin seed.
- It's 1/2 tsp of urad Dal.
- It's 1/2 tsp of Hing(asafoetida).
- You need as needed of Curry leaves.
- Prepare as needed of Dried red chilli.
Andhra Style Palak Papu step by step
- Take a bowl add tur dal and wash it and soak it in Dal for 20 min..
- Cut the spinach and wash it.
- Take pressure cooker add 1 cup tur Dal, chopped tomatoes,green chilli,amchur powder,salt,spinach,coriander,mint turmeric powder,red chilli powder add 2 cups water and cover it with lid and pressure cook it untill 5 whistles..
- After 5 whistles let the cooker cool down and after it cools down open the lid and whisk the Dal with churner and keep it aside..
- Take a pan add 2 tspn of oil once the oil is heated add cumin & mustard seeds,urad Dal then add dried red chilli,curry leaves, Hing then pour the Dal in the pan and cook it at shimmer for 2 min then add coriander and mix it.Your Andhra style Jain papu is ready..
