Ingredients of Masala khichdi
- It's 1 bowl of rice.
- Prepare 3/4 bowl of moong dal.
- It's 1 of onion chopped.
- Prepare 1 of tomato chopped.
- You need 2 spoon of ginger - garlic and green chilli paste.
- You need 2 of whole dry red chilli.
- It's 1 spoon of cumin.
- It's of Salt as per taste.
- It's 3/4 spoon of turmeric.
- Prepare 2 spoon of ghee.
- It's 2 spoon of chopped coriander leaves.
Masala khichdi step by step
- Wash and soak the rice and Dal for 30 minutes..
- After that heat a pressure cooker put ghee, cumin when it's crackle add chopped onions and ginger, garlic and green chilli paste saute until tranculent than add tomatoes and saute for 2 minutes..
- Now add soaked rice- dal,salt and turmeric mix well.Saute for 3-4 minutes..
- Now add 4 bowl of water and close the lid and take 2 whistle..
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with papad, salad and rayta..
