Ingredients of Luchi cholar dal(puri chana dal)
- You need 2 cup of flour.
- Prepare 1 cup of chana dal boiled.
- You need 1 tsp of cumin seed.
- Prepare 1 of bay leaf.
- You need 1 of red chilli whole.
- It's 1 handful of whole garam masalas.
- Prepare 1 tbsp of cumin-coriander powder.
- It's 1 tbsp of raisins.
- You need 1 tsp of red chilli Powder.
- Prepare 1 tbsp of ginger paste.
- It's 1 tbsp of ginger paste.
- It's To taste of salt and sugar.
- Prepare As needed of oil and ghee.
Cholar dal is made with chana dal or bengal gram. The dal is slightly sweet and fragrant due to the addition of whole spices or garam masala like bay Traditionally cholar dal is always accompanied with luchi or koraishutir kachori. I had made both matar kachori and luchi to go with the dal. Try this delectable Chana Dal Puri, which combines soaked and ground chana dal with wheat flour and semolina in the dough.
Luchi cholar dal(puri chana dal) step by step
- Knead a soft dough with salt and ghee,keep aside.
- Now heat a wok add cumin seed, bay leaf, red chilli whole and whole garam masalas.
- Add ginger paste and saute well.
- Add cumin-coriander powder and red chilli Powder.
- Saute it and add boiled dal and raisins.
- Add sugar and boil,remove it.
- Now roll puris of the dough and deep fry.
- Serve puri and chana dal.
